This was a sudden trip in Chinese New Year period by last week. After watching a movie, we decided to travel to Langkawi island next day.
On the way the jetty
Early in the morning, we take the 9.30am ferry to langkawi. We also rented the hotel, book the island hopping and rent the car at the jetty kuala kedah before go to langkawi.After couple of hours, we reach the langkawi. We went to take the rented car and directly go to the motel we rented.The location of motel is very nice. It's on the beach. Have a beautiful beach view.After we put our baggage in the room, we went to KFC Cenang Mall for our lunch. We had a happy lunch, because it's without any tax (gov tax) and also very hungry.
Our first day be spent in Underwater Water Langkawi. It is the famous and only aquarium in North Malaysia. It got a lot of species of fishs and animals such as penguin, seals, sharks and so on.The most famous is the penguins. There are two species of penguins in the aquarium. One is African penguin and another one is Rockhopper penguin. They are so cute, and also other animals. Then, we went to mall to buy liquors back to hotel to drink. Those are cheap due to duty free.At the night, we played the game with drinking beer, cider and wine. This was a happy night.

The next day, we walked on the beach and enjoy it before went to island hopping. The pantai tengah, is a beautiful beach. The blue sea, the golden sand and the wind. It's really a place for relaxing.After that, we went the take the boat for island hopping. We went to 3 places, 2 island and one for watching eagles. The first place is pulaudayang bunting. There has a beautiful fresh lake in centre of the island. A beautiful lake with beautiful legend story and a beautiful view. The second place is watching eagles. There have a lot of beautiful eagles and also a nice view. The last place is to a beautiful beach with soft sand. It's quite relax and enjoyable. We took a lot of beautiful shell and coral on that beach. It's beach and sea also fresh and clean. what a beautiful place ! And this island hopping just cos5 RM 35 per person. It's worthy.

Before back to Alor Star, we went to the famous place in Langkawi, Dataran Lang ( eagle square) for taking some photo and went the Billion hypermarket to buy some chocolates which can't found in mainland.
Around 5pm, we took the ferry back to mainland. This our 2 days 1 night Langkawi trip.
